Ravello Wedding Photographer

 

This was my first visit to Ravello, it's as beautiful as it sounds and to top it all off: Genevieve and Ben were blessed with a gorgeous beautiful sunny day for their outdoor wedding ceremony overlooking the stunning Amalfi coastline.

I arrived mid afternoon as the bridal preparations were underway, I love this time of a wedding day as anticipation builds for the celebrations that lie ahead, it’s a great time to capture some great moments as well as those important details like the dress and shoes.

 

Stunning location for a wedding

 

I'm in love all things Italian, the awesome outdoor location coupled with a stunning backdrop was the perfect setting for the couple to tie the knot !

So many wonderful moments and highlights of the day, the musicians playing as the guests walked down the tight alleyways to the town square, the crowd of tourists all applauding the happy couple, the sights, the sounds, the emotion of the location all added up to what I would call: the perfect wedding.

 

So many photo opportunities

 

The happy couple took a very brief diversion to the stunning Villa Ruffalo for a quiet moment, then the whole bridal party took a meandering walk up the steep medieval Ravello back streets to the beautiful setting of the incredible Villa Eva high on the hill for the evening reception. An night of love, laughter and dancing. Great to meet Neil from Authentic Wedding Films who did the video and a big thanks to Genevieve, Ben and all their wonderful family and guests for making me laugh all day!

This amazing wedding was organised by a wedding planner who was recommended to Genevieve and Ben, by Andrea, Genevieve's sister after she attended a wedding for some friends in Santa Maria di Castellabate in 2011.  The planner met up with the couple last September in their chosen town of Ravello and it goes without saying that they fell in love with the quaint town on the Amalfi Coast.
