I feel that every couple should feel amazing about their wedding photographs, because after the honeymoon and after all the dust has settled, all they have left is their photo's. I do this by prioritising my professional and couple relationship and become warm friends with my clients.
By working with me, you won’t be made to run, jump, twirl or otherwise act up to the camera. After all these years, I know that YOU spending quality time with YOUR friends and family is the most important element of a wedding. I believe you should enjoy your wedding day without the pressure of any awkward stuff! Relaxed and fun, capturing the magic story of your day, sprinkle in some gorgeous portraits of you and you have the best of both worlds.
I’ve been a professional documentary wedding photographer since 1988, shooting hundreds of weddings internationally; my style has developed into an honest form of natural and relaxed coverage.
I love working with available light only and try to avoid using artificial lights, like a flash for instance. This allows me to faithfully capture the atmosphere of an event. It also gives my style a unique and consistent look, wherever an event takes place.

My Little Buddy!
My little editing buddy. She sits next to me when i'm editing clients work, she has definitely seen more wedding images than your average cat.

Brief Me
- Left art school, began as a model agency photographer and eventually shot my very first wedding in Belgium in 1988.
- I'm based in beautiful Lancashire, and am a qualified teacher and my second office is my Kayak in the evenings, amazing colours, no traffic, only blue skies, ducks and time to appreciate Mother Nature.
Apart from some relaxed portraits and a couple of family groups (if you would like them), there is no staging or posing anything - just you two, your family and friends enjoying the best day of your lives!
I'm there to tell the story of the day because I know that YOU spending quality time with YOUR friends and family is the most important element of a wedding.
"Wow, we love them!! You did a FANTASTIC job - the way you catch people just being themselves, always, always in the right place, but hardly noticed; it's an art, no posing, just wonderful moments"
